PWP Manual
Is there a way to view the manual for PWP 5.0 before trying/purchasing the software? Also, is a hard copy available for purchase, like was available for PWP 3.5? My specific questions are in regards to importing from the CF card/reader, steps to naming and finding files, saving RAW files, and conver...

RAW Converters?
I am interested in learning what the differences are among RAW Converter programs. I am interested in achieving the best IQ/Low Noise combination in the conversion! I presently have a Leica D Lux 4 and use Capture One for that RAW conversion. I just obtained a Sony a850 and want the best RAW Convert...

Border Text
I am having a problem with creating TEXT in the border area. I select the crop/border transform and add what i feel is enough room to add text. But it doesn't seem to work for me. I would like to add text to a border area of a 6X9 image printed on 8.5X 11 paper! also, how can I make it light gray? I...

Re: Micro Contrast
Thanks for the suggestions.
JS, I read the Sharpen.pdf and was wondering how the work flow is supposed to work. What are the steps that are used and in what order for this bilateral work flow? Is there a specific selection in the USM dialogue box?
Thanks

Micro Contrast
I would like to learn/know how to achieve what I would call Micro Contrast in my images. What I am talking about are dark images where small highlights are brightened in the images in a uniform manner, and appear to be crisp and sharp. I have been using the dodge/burn tools, but this takes a long ti...

Plug Ins ?
In another image editing software application, (PS),the workflow using various plugins are illustrated. Does PWP accept plugins, or can it work just as well without? The plugins that I am asking about are Silver EFX Pro, Sharpen Pro, etc. Also when printing, is it advisable to resize before printing...

And what component of the computer would be advisable to upgrade, etc? I would need to handle 24Mb RAW files. I have a PC, r...

Re: DPI Q's
J.S. Thanks for the reply. That is what I have always thought. The only reason to re-think those relationships, is because of new camera technology sales hype, etc., and the fact that my DCS Pro 14n is getting, like me, a little long in the tooth. Being retired and no longer working as a pro, these ...

DPI Q's
Some questions that hopefully some one on this board might help me with... I presently print, using an Epson 2880 to a max image size of 10X15 in, for gallery presentation, usually in B&W. I use a 4500X3000 mp file that allows me to print this size at 300dpi. Is having a camera that has a larger...
