I am considering moving up to a new camera system and would like to know if I also upgrade to PWP 5.0, my present computer will be satisfactory or would need upgrading or not. And what component of the computer would be advisable to upgrade, etc?
I would need to handle 24Mb RAW files.
I have a PC, running Windows XP Pro.
Intel D955XBK Extreme Dual Core Processer a @ 3200Mhz.
Matrox Parhelia APVe Graphics Board.
2 Gig RAM
80 Gig C: Drive
500 Gig D: Drive (Raid 0 Config.)
Thanks,
Gary

Re: Computer Compatability?
I would add more RAM. Remember that 32-bit Windows XP can't use more than 4GB RAM and that some of that is mapped to graphics RAM which means you will only be able to use about a maximum of 3.25 Gb.
