Plug Ins ?

Post by gcha »

In another image editing software application, (PS),the workflow using various plugins are illustrated. Does PWP accept plugins, or can it work just as well without? The plugins that I am asking about are Silver EFX Pro, Sharpen Pro, etc. Also when printing, is it advisable to resize before printing, or let the print driver do the resizing. What are the advantages/disadvantaves or differences? Does the print driver in the Epson 2880 work well enough, say, compared to a third party RIP? Thanks,

Picture Window does not accept plugins.

For printing, you should generally let the printer do the resizing. Printers generally do a very good job. Another advantage is that reszing is done to a strip at a time, avoiding the need for creating very large files. However, you can always run your own tests. If you decide to do that, take a look at the Resampling white paper, avaialble here: http://dl-c.com/content/view/35/56/
