Clone tool - hard crash

Just installed 25-May-2018, and if I try to open the Clone tool, PWP8 crashes out. Simply selecting Clone from the Tool menu does it.

Mark, I have just updated 25-May .exe file and can start Clone Tool without a problem.
Try to reinstall PWP 8 using the full installer. This is what I did one or two updates ago.

Hi David, yes I first downloaded and replaced the .exe file, and Clone crashed, so I uninstalled and downloaded the .msi installer, re-installed, and Clone crashed.

Just tried again this morning with same results. Other tools and transformations are working as normal, so I can't explain it.

Check if you have a default settings file as this will cause problems as the format of this file has changed. Go to My Documents/Picture Window Pro/Clone and delete Default.clone if present. Also delete Previous.clone since restoring settings from the last session will also not work.

Thank you Jonathan, deleted both files and the Clone tool opens as expected.

One more item: when cloning from one image to another, dragging the mouse to the left-most side creates a horizontal line across to the right side. Dragging to the right-most side does nothing unexpected (also to top and bottom).
