Brightness curve - detail control bug???

Post by johnp »

I opened a jpeg color image and played around with the Brightness Curve : Detail Control
feature. I basically turned it on & off looking at how the image changed with
various settings.

I then converted it to monochrome using a green filter.

I then tried the Brightness Curve : Detail Control feature and I could toggle it once, then
it stuck and I was not able to change it again without closing the tool and re-starting it.

It seemed to work fine with a color image.

I'm running Window 7.

John,

As a workaround, you can convert the black and white image ( 8 bit) to a 24 bit color image with the Convert Transformation.

Thanks for the report. I ran into this problem myself a week or so ago and have already fixed this for the next release.
