The image display area is off by one.
Scenario : create an 8x8 image, only 7x7 is shown.

Any progress on a possible fix ?

I believe I fixed this a while ago (see 28-Feb update)

Hi Jonathan
No ... the problem is still present in the latest version, 8.0.204

If you go to File/Preferences and set Smooth Display to Yes, it works OK. I will see if I can fix what is wrong for the other case for the next release.

Re: The image display area is off by one.
Hello Jonathan,
... not quite : using PWP8 with smooth scrolling : perimeter pixels not fully displayed (about half only).
and pixels are misaligned with an 8x8 grid.

This is not a bug. The pixel location is at the center of the square.

Re: The image display area is off by one.
I see that two problems remain :
1. 50% of the area of periphereral pixels is hidden, and 75% of the area of corner pixels is hidden.
2. In an image having 8x8 pixels, an 8x8 grid should align perfectly with the pixel boundaries. The resulting grid is not 8x8, as selected, but 7x7.
Thanks

Re: The image display area is off by one.
The grid has 8 divisions and grid intersections pass through the centers of the pixels.
The display window is aligned with the centers of the pixels and thus shows only part of the edge pixels when you zoom in by huge amounts as in this example. This is a total non-issue for normal photographic images. While this may not be what you expect it to do, it is perfectly consistent and the way it works.
