Mask Tool Undo Last Operation
This issue may well be related to my interpretation of what Undo Last Operation means. Compositing two images with a mask: - Open the Base Mask dialogue - Draw a single Freehand mask - Click Paint and make one application - Undo Last Operation The first/single Paint application is deleted and the to...

Re: feature request : caption for masks
Not sure if this is the same as being discussed, but I had issues keeping track of multiple (upwards of 15 to 20 for a particular project) masks using the Masks Transform, then took the extra step(s) of saving each mask, with a meaningful name, as an image file. The working image and masks would be ...

Re: Crop Tool
Thanks Jonathan,
Obviously I am not paying as close attention as I should as I didn't even realize there is a portrait/landscape control.

Crop Tool
Was doing a bunch of image cropping and found a couple minor issues: The drop-down-menu-provided crop combinations are listed with the smallest number first (ie 3x4) and that first number appears to represent the vertical dimension. As I was looking for a vertically longer crop box, I scrolled down ...

Re: Drop Shadow
Jonathan, Yes, the Clear Default Menu settings item is greyed out. And because of that answer, the following may be moot but, a bit of clarification, as I mis-spoke about a single thing, which I doubt has any real bearing - I initially suggested the two side by sides are full view when I start, but ...

Re: Drop Shadow
I had created "the image" , which was just a blank white image with a black grid, and the mask a day or two earlier. I had actually created a bunch of masks and saved them as images for the same project at that time. I subsequently closed all the images and the program. A day or so later, ...

Re: Drop Shadow
Thanks Jonathan for your reply. I will give the second answer a try (although at this point, I don't really understand the whole thing, but I will see what comes of it). As to the first question - When I wish to do a drop shadow on only a small portion of an image, I will usually already have a mask...

Drop Shadow
2 things - How do I, or can I, maintain the side by side views full image (zoom to fit) during the D.S. operation? I am doing an image where a number of the shadows (and masks) are situated away from where the windows auto zoom into. This means for each application, I have to hit the zoom to fit but...

Re: PW 8 newbie question
And if I might add, one of the components in PWP7 that caused me both grief and value, was the part that tomczak just touched on - that you could complete multiple transformations and have multiple windows that reflected each newer version. The downside to that was - you have multiple windows in the...
