Jonathan,
Thanks for the reply. I am sure I was not computing the difference of the image with itself. And I will give a go with your suggestions to see what happens.

Absolute Difference
I have always thought the best way to determine how significant the difference between an image and its derivative (when making very subtle changes in tone/hue etc) was to use Composite with Absolute Difference blend mode. In the black result image, white suggests the difference. At least that is th...

Re: Two (minor) issues.
Thanks for the explanation. I can't reposition the monitors due to walls and desk space, so it has to stay as is with the main monitor on the right. And as I sort of indicated in the previous post, I tried resizing the workspace on the primary monitor, but every time I clicked on the title bar, the ...

Re: Two (minor) issues.
Did a bit more checking. It appears this issue only occurs when the workspace (as mentioned when dual monitors and the workspace is on the right and browser on the left) is full screen (by clicking on the double square button top right). In this configuration it looks like the left side of the ws is...

Re: Two (minor) issues.
Sorry, I meant the Freehand Outline Tool, the one which you can use to freehand circle an object/area with a thin line then when the two ends are connected, it fills in the area with a mask or, in my situation, deletes an existing mask.I called it a Pen Tool, because I often use a Wacom pen and tabl...

Two (minor) issues.
Small issues and I will state up front that I have yet to download the latest update so they may have been remedied. 1. Just an FYI, the Help file for the Warp Transform indicates the movement of the corners can be restricted to either vertical or horizontal by Shift Clicking. This does not seem to ...

Re: Level Tool
Ah, good to know. I thought the line had to be fully extended regardless of the structure needing levelling.

Re: Level Tool
Jonathan, Thanks for the reply. If I understand what you are describing, this would work if the horizontal (or vertical) "structure" stretches the full distance across the image. I would do as you say, move point 1 to the edge of the structure, then zoom into point 2 across to the opposite...

Level Tool
The literature for the Level Tool suggests that the more the level line is extended, the better the accuracy. With that in mind, I find it a bit cumbersome to go back and forth across the image to move the end points in gross movements until the line is in the exact position (yes, I am a bit OCD.......
