I have had the opportunity to use this transformation to reduce blotchy colour noise on a netral metallic surface. Very effective.
However, after the preview, when I clicked OK to run the transformation on a 48bit depth, 12MP picture, I saw expected running times of 12 to 30 minutes on the progress bar, depending on blur settings I chose.
I am using an older Windows XP PC which may be the reason - AMD Athlon 64 3700 , 2.19Ghz, 3GB RAM.
Are there any PC settings I can change to make this run a bit faster please?
Or guidance on the PWP Pro transformation settings which affect the speed?
Thanks, Mark

The following things are the main things I can think of that will speed it up:
1) smaller radius - this is the big one since the execution time increases as the square of the radius
2) mask that covers less area - parts of the image where the mask is totally black are processed quickly
3) faster processor
4) processor with more cores
