Hi,
I noticed that 16 bit BW images with a 100% fill amount and 0-100% black linear gradient applied, are always converted to 8 bit BW, whereas the same with 0-95% fill remain 16 bit. The same is true for 48 bit color: 0-95% remains 48 bit, but 0-100% converts to 8 bit BW. This is the same in PWP5 and PWP6.
Is there any reason why a 100% gradient is not 16 bit?
Thanks,
Frank

8 and 16 bit gradients

Re: 8 and 16 bit gradients
The gradient is always 8-bit - if the fill is less than 100%, the 8-bit gradient is blended with the 16-bit input image so the result is 16-bit.
