I stumbled on a Scott Kelby video about Landscape Editing Tips in Photoshop. I've translated most of these ideas into PWP8 processes but with one of them I've run into a roadblock.
URL for the video is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW23oYjmlgQ&t=171s
The tip I'm interested in is his first one: how to make a reflection photo. He starts with a snow scene that contains mountains in the background. He selects the mountains and puts that selection in a new layer; he then turns the image in that layer upside down and pastes it back in the original picture, at the base of the "real" range, overlaying the ugly foreground. The result, with a few minor tweaks, now looks like a mountain range reflected in a tranquil mountain lake.
Is there a simple, straightforward way to do this in PWP?

Use Transformation Geometry Tile
Set Vertical Mirror to Bottom
Adjust the cropping rectangle overlay on the input image

That's it! Thank you, Jonathan. Wouldn't have come to that in a hundred years. The Bottom Setting does wonders.
Re: Photoshop in PWP8
There are more complicated ways where you reflect the image and composite it back over the original, but Tile is a lot easier.

Re: Photoshop in PWP8
I was originally trying to use the Composite Transformation but I soon ran into trouble, and I figured there must be an easier way.
