Is it safe to assume that the saturation sliders without options (e.g. Level and Color, Adjust) apply a saturation curve similar or identical to Saturation/preserve Low and High? It looks to me that they do, but I want to make sure.
p.s. I just discovered the wonders of Conditional Curve where X and Y axes can be set to different channels. Sat vs. Sat is no different from regular colour curves, but Sat. vs. e.g. HSV-V or -H opens other possibilities.

Yes, it uses the same family of curves.
