Cloning

Post by Marpel »

Cloning from image A to image B. Typical set-up, with cursors "one to one". Initially, dialogue shows the two images in side by side mode, with image A on the left and B on the right.

After shift-clicking image A to identify the source, then clicking in image B, if I press the Display Preview button, image B shows, with whatever cloning has already taken place.

The first click in image B leaves a circle that remains in the same spot, regardless of where the mouse is hovered and moved (a second circle follows the mouse), then when the mouse is clicked a second time, the first circle disappears, however, no cloning takes place under the remaining circle when the mouse button is depressed.

If I click the "side by side" button, the workspace shows two images side by side, except the right image is image B with any changes already made, while the left side shows image B prior to any cloning changes. Image A is absent.

For the next release, I fixed the problem with cloning from one image to another with the display set to show the output image only.

To display image A after switching back to side by side or input only view you need to click on its mini-thumbnail in the image browser.
