I'm trying to understand how PWP saves and handles Workspaces, but I'm still confused.

1) What's the difference between Previous.workspace and Autosave.workspace?
2) Would Previous.workspace be only saved if Ask to Save Workspace on Exit is on, and that would be at the end of the session, and I have to say Yes when closing PWP for this to happen and it is not automatic?
3) Is either of these saved if the Preferences are set to Don't ask to save workspace?
4) If they are saved, is it 'on-a-fly' or at the end of PWP session (i.e. what happens to the current Workspace if PWP crashes - can it be recovered)?
5) If they are saved, are they saved with TIFF copies of top images, names for them, or neither?
6) Where are they stored?
7) What's the most sensible automation in Settings for saving Workspaces in normal PWP use, so that I'm not being asked about workspaces all the time, but things are still safely and automatically backed up for the next PWP session?

After reading Scripts.PDF and experimenting a bit, I think I've answered some of my own questions, but I need an adult to confirm that what I think is true, really is.

1) If enabled, Autosave.workspace is saved every time OK in any transformation is clicked on.
2) Previous.workspace is always saved when PWP is closed (but not when it crashes), regardless of Settings.
3) Both of them are saved in the default Workspace Scripts folder (On my Windows 10: C:\Users\[myself]\Documents\Picture Window Pro\Workspace Scripts\)
4) Both of them are saved with top image names, not TIFF copies of them, which makes sense, I think.
5) To avoid constant nagging, I turned off all the Workspace prompts in Settings and left Autosave on OK on. To return to the previous workspace: Script/Open Workspace Script/Load Previous or Autosave - if the PWP didn't crash, they should be the same, shouldn't they?

One thing that may be in a nice category would be an option in Settings/On Startup: Load Previous (or Autosave) silently which would let me return to the previous session in peace, without making the same un-default decision on Load Workspace? prompt every time the PWP opens.

One more comment: if I set Save As to include Script with Image Copies, it's a pretty powerful option for archiving complete edits as it saves:
a) The final edited image
b) The script to recreate all edits for this image
c) A separate TIFF copy of the original input image

all in the same place. Awesome! Out of curiosity: it seems to even save masks, but where are they saved - I can't find them in Image Copies folder...

The problem with this feature is that you might be working on a complicated project that takes a long time to load. Fine if you want to pick up where you left off, but not so fine if you don't.

Mask are rebuilt on the fly from the saved mask command lines
