Praise for the Transformations.pdf

Post by davidh »

After some period of time, I have looked into the Transformations.pdf to find more about the Primaries transformation and was surprised how greatly the document improved with a lot of new attractive example images and descriptions.
A very nice and illuminating document. Thanks.

Example of a shot with Primaries and without

Post by Charles2 »

I did the workflow for this shot twice, once with a Primaries transformation, once the same except no Primaries transformation. The Primaries transformation was not the last one applied. For what it is worth, you can compare how it looks with and without. Criticism welcome.

Here are the coordinates, taken post facto from scripts:

The default coordinates:
wpx 0.3127 wpy 0.329 redx 0.6484 redy 0.3309 greenx 0.2302 greeny 0.7016 bluex 0.1559 bluey 0.0661 amount 1
The coordinates applied, at 49.9 percent:
wpx 0.3127 wpy 0.329 redx 0.6234 redy 0.3542 greenx 0.1971 greeny 0.6939 bluex 0.1559 bluey 0.0661 amount 0.4984

Despite the Exif, the true aperture was f/2.8.
