Paint tool - pixel "displacement"?

This is tough to describe: Paint seems to be pushing or displacing pixels just beyond the selection radius, while you are dragging the tool around, but the displacement doesn't appear to be permanent. PWP7 does not exhibit this.

Probably not a big deal, just seemed a little weird.

For performance reasons, what you see when you drag the paint tool is an approximation and the full stroke is updated when you release the mouse button.
