1) opened an image into work space
2) opened Transformation/Color/Curves
3) opened Mask Tool - Color Range and made 2 setting files, saving each
4) files were saved in the Mask folder without any extensions, showing only names when using File Explorer
5) Load mask dialog file names were not visible and would not load after manually adding a "*.mask" extention resulting in error message as follows:
"Settings file C:\Users\<*>\Documents\Picture Window Pro\Mask\90-100 HSV-S.mask - command line starts with wrong command: mask"
composite ScreenView:
90-100 HSV-S.mask in text format:
mask 0 nx 4896 ny 2754 mask_color 0 mask_transparency 3 initial_level 0 n_op 0
This a HSV-S color range selection of the workspace image's approximate 90% to 100% HSV-Saturations at all Hues and Values.

Re: Cannot Load a 'saved' mask Settings file...
...
Just tried a Save and Load Mask - Brightness Curve setting file whose text is:
mask 0 nx 4896 ny 2754 mask_color 0 mask_transparency 3 initial_level 0 n_op 1 command1 operation 9 mask_mode 0 mask_operation 9 channel 8 curve 6 1 0 255 28 255 41 0 236 0 249 255 255 255
which is a HSV-H Brightness Curve for 97% to 100/0% to 11% Hues as mask white.
Same thing happens as described in the above post, ie, no Save file extension is assigned and the error message occurs.

PS... ...oh man! oh man! Am I going to enjoy this program... ...Thank you Jonathan.

Thanks, this is an area I have not tested much -- will have to dig into it.

Re: Cannot Load a 'saved' mask Settings file...
These two problems have been fixed for the next maintenance release.
The error with loading masks resulted from a typo.
Now the extension for all settings filenames is automatically filled in (or replaced) with the correct one for that setting.
