Text display issue in RAW Properties display

Post by MarkT »

Hello,

A small issue, when displaying the properties in the RAW processing dialogue, the text for "W x H" is partially hidden when wrapped to 2nd line (at 128% font display...). All the other two-line properties appear fine.

On a side note, the current version of DCRaw does not handle Nikon D810 NEF files very well. I've tried both in PWP and a native DCRaw local version and they both create psychedelic results. Is 9.22 the latest version? On the support pages it states the D810 is supported, but maybe there is something else amiss?

Cheerio for now

The width of the dialog pane in the raw dialog can be adjusted to one of three widths in File/Raw Settings. The default is the medium width, so you can probably increase its width to match the larger font size.

The Nikon D810 is not supported in 9.22. (The latest model supported in that series is the Nikon D800.) I expect it will be supported in the next release.

Hi Kiril,

Thank you. Switching to Wide Control Width fixed it.

I checked again to make sure I had read it correctly... on the main page for dcraw the D810 is listed as a supported camera:

Nikon D7100
Nikon D800
Nikon D800E
Nikon D810
Nikon 1 AW1

No big deal, I wanted to make sure we had the latest version going.

Thanks for your help.

Mark,

If you can send me an image, I will investigate further. Please send it through one of the file transfer services. My e-mail is support@dl-c.com.
