Preferences: Initial Dialog Position not saved

After a clean re-install of Windows 10, I installed Picture Window Pro 8.0.36.

I edited the Preferences for the Initial Dialog Position from Lower Left to Bottom Right 2nd Monitor, and on exit I answered Yes to "Save modfied preferences for nest session?" It worked fine during the current session, but after exiting and re-starting Picture WIndow, this setting had reverted back to Lower Left. This used to work, I've had it that way for months. The other settings seem to get saved.
