Update Available - Version 8.0.5

An update is available to Version 8.0.5 (30-Oct-2019)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Gaussian Blur: fixed problem with missing limit on dialog box size.

File Open: fixed problems with reloading an updated version of a currently open image.

Removed the Del keyboard shortcut as it interfered with editing text controls.

Crop: fixed problems when cropping rectangle gets reversed by dragging one edge past the opposite edge.

Paint Tool: fixed problems with incorrect brush radius when editing transformation - problem was accidentally introduced when recently adding tablet support.

Resize: fixed problem with illegal value error messages for 2nd and 3rd inputs.

Fixed problem with various transformations causing bypass to be set inconsistently if the display was set to show the input image at the time OK was clicked.

I just tried to install the new version (Installer version), but I got the following error message:

It says that a dll is missing.
I guess the name of the dll should be "cufft64_100.dll"
Maybe a typo in the configuration script.
No problem so far, I remove 8.0.5 and installed 8.0.4 again

cufft64_100.dll should be there in the install file. Can you try downloading again and trying the install once more. I tested the installer before uploading it.

I got the same error message when only updating PWP 8.0.exe.

Apparently, the new exe is looking for cufft64_10.dll instead of cufft64_100.dll

When I renamed cufft64_100.dll to cufft64_10.dll, the program would start but when doing a ctrl-F shortcut for a full screen image display, Win10 locked up.

I did a hard restart and re-installed PWP 8.0.exe (v8.0.4).

Edit01: I will download the msi tomorrow, Oct 31, and advise. Currently, close to data limits.

I think you probably need to download the full installer and try again. On my computer, installing creates the correct dll and it works OK.

I just downloaded the msi file here and it is identical to the one I uploaded.

I just installed the new version and got the same error message ... except mine is not in German!

OK I see the problem -- I updated to a slightly newer version of the CUDA software and they renamed some of the DLLs. I should have a fix shortly.
