1. When saving an image, the "Include Script" box is checked by default. Any way to change this to unchecked by default?
2. It appears a script is saved in the same folder as the associated image. This tends to add much to the folder (each image has a thumbnail of the PWP8 logo beside it for the script). Is there a way to save the script to another "Script" folder?
Layout - I first should say that the new PWP8 Layout transform is far easier to use than that in PWP7. Kudos!
3. I was making an image, using Layout, of 9 images, each 2000 x 2000px. After each panel was placed into the main background panel, the individual image panels showed a size of 2001 x 2001 (even though I had entered 2000 x 2000). Seems to be a small glitch.
4. I have set up dual monitors and keep the browser on the second monitor (full screen). When using Layout, the browser shows the main background panel (as an image) in the top left corner, then each image across the top. When each image sub-panel is set up, an image of that panel appears along the top of the browser, next to the background panel image, this pushes the original browser thumbnail images farther to the right. If the panel is to be made up of many images (which I do often), some of the images get pushed off the page, even when scrolling. Reducing the thumbnail size allows more images to remain visible, but eventually the thumbnails become too small to see the title. It seems like all the space below the thumbnails is wasted.
5. Saving a Layout setting - Click the "Settings" icon > "Save settings as" brings up the PWP>Layout folder, with a list of previously saved Layouts, with one labelled "Previous.layout". This layout is not highlighted and there is no typical dialogue in which to enter the name of the layout to be saved. A little confusing at this point. I took a chance and renamed this layout, but there is no mention (that I could find) on the proper method to save a layout, in Help. I presume this is the method?
Thanks,
Marv

Re: Couple questions/comments
1) Go to File Preferences - Set Default File Save Options
2) You can save scripts manually using Script/Save Script commands and disable the automatic script saving as described above. I don't really recommend this as it is easier for the script file to get separated from the image file it goes with.
5) Previous.Layout is where the layout settings are saved each time you click OK in the Layout dialog box. These stored settings are then restored if you select Reload Last Settings from the Settings menu. To save settings just enter a filename for the settings file and click Save.
