Windows 7 64 bit

Post by keithrj »

Just to let everyone know that I moved to Windows 7 64 bit over the weekend and so far so good - no problems!

If I come across any problems I will post them. If anyone wants me to test anything in this environment let me know and I will be only too happy to help.

If only we could ask that you evaluate the 64bit version of PWP...

Now that would be great! My guess is that it will have to happen given the size of digital images keep on increasing in size as digital cameras are still increasing their sensor sizes. Add multi-frame panoramas into the mix and then we are really looking at huge images.

Jonathan, care to comment on any plans?

Folks,

We will have a 64 bit version soon -- probably sometime in the first or second month of the new year.

Excellent! That'll be my cue to upgrade hardware and migrate to Windows 7 64 bit.
