Ref: PWP 8.0.exe 180428
1) Start PWP8 and start a Browser work flow with one or more transformations then:
2) select Script/Open script...; a Load Script File dialog opens
3) double left click a *.script file; an Open Image File dialog opens; navigate if necessary to a folder that contains RAW files
4) Inadvertently on purpose double left click on a RAW file
5) Error dialog appears: "Unrecognized image file type"
6) A left click on the Error dialog OK will clear all wip in Browser [if present] and causes a "Picture Window Pro has stopped working" with a "Close program" dialog to appear.
Suggested fix: an Error OK allows the Open Image File dialog to reset for another selection rather than shutting down the program and closing Browser work-in-process.

Also... ...would it be possible for the Open Image File dialog to have an Option to select any image version that may be in the Browser ? This would potentially eliminate the need for a Copy transform when adding/inserting a script to an existing tree.

It occurred to me to try the same sequence with Script/Open Workspace Script... ...and it too will cause a "stopped working" if its Open Image File dialog inadvertently tries to open a RAW file...
Perhaps maybe Script's Open Image File dialog should only be able to reset and open non-workspace authorized images...
...and Workspace script's Open Image File dialog should be able to reset and open only workspace images ???

Re: OK an "Unrecognized image file type" causes PWP to stop working
I addressed this in the latest 29-Apr release - please try it again with the latest and let me know if there is still a problem. All the raw files I tried here give a different error, but I'm pretty sure I caught the problem you were seeing.

Confirmed "stopped working" is resolved. RAW file was a Fujifilm X100T RAF file (X-Trans).
