Using RGB numbers to colour part of image

I've been asked to do some mock-ups for a club tie.

I have a jpg of the design but the stripes are the wrong colour.

The designer has the Pantones of the colours she wants. I have used Google to convert them to RGB numbers.

I am sure that PWP has a way of replacing the wrong colour with a stripe of that RGB.

Can someone help me please?

Bear in mind than Pantone colors are defined in CMYK and are designed for printing presses so converting to RGB or from RGB to CMYK may introduce color shifts.

There are several ways to replace the color. The simplest one I can think of is to create a mask that covers the wrong color (perhaps using the color range mask tool) then and use the Composite transformation to overlay a solid color you specify over the masked area. In Composite, make sure the mask is selected for the input image and that Overlay is set to Solid Color. Composite will display a color picker for the overlay color and you can enter the RGB values there.

Where do I enter the three sets of numbers please?

I see three boxes in the Overlay Colour panel but these are limited to a top figure of 100.

Use the dropdown to select Decimal instead of Percent.

Possibly your image would also allow a different way to do it. In an existing image or a new blank image, use the paint brush to make splotches of your desired ending colors making use of the percentage boxes in the color picker window to produce your desired colors. Then use the selective correction tool under the color transformation. Pick the starting colors off your original image with the eye dropper and locate the positions on the color hexagon that these are to be transformed to by using the eye dropper on your color splotches.
