Is there a way in a Workflow to make some transformation (e.g. high pass) on an individual channel? While I don't think there is a direct way, perhaps some trick such as monochrome to extract channel could be used, but I'm not sure how.
And another question for the similar reason: is there any way of making a mask dynamically and using it withing a workflow. I don't recall it is, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

You can extract a channel using monochrome and the Channel Mixer method with the appropriate channel settings -- i.e. 100% for the channel you want and 0% for the others.
Workflow does not support dynamic masks.

Thanks!
If a channel is actually extracted in a workflow, is there a way of putting it back where it belongs (maybe chaining channels could do that somehow)?

This would have to be done as a manual operation since workflow does not have any widgets with more than one input.

Thanks. Workflows can be chained: i.e. output of one workflow can be used as input for another. Also, a workflow can use static mask if it already exists. Would it make sense to allow an output of one workflow to become input mask in another workflow?
