Open windows list not displaying

Post by rpm »

Copied from Support forum:

"The list of open windows is missing from the Window menu in PWP64 7.0.5. I hope this is not an "enhancement", because I use this feature frequently.

System specs: Win7 Home Premium 64bit, 8GB memory

Thanks,
Ron"

Same remark as Ron.
For the rest: great improvement in speed and I love the Precise Gaussian - Chroma only transformation. Looking forward to explore the other new features!

Not sure why this is broken - it's a feature built into the Windows MDI interface. In any case, we are looking at some more useful alternatives.

As Jon stated, the next release will restore an enhanced Windows list.

However for those who might not be aware of it, the History tab in the Browser panel can also be used to navigate among windows. It displays all open image and control windows. For images, it shows their lineage and the operations used to create them. To bring a window to the top, just click on its listing in History.

Thanks Kiril for the History tab reminder. I have been using it for the last week or so in place of the Window list and actually now prefer it.

Thanks again,
Ron
