I find I have been using the full workspace (with the browser shut off) and usually have quite a few image and mask windows open on the screen at the same time (at a reduced size so I can see all the windows in the workspace). This is all good, however, until I complete an operation and generate a new image which opens to fill the entire workspace, thus blocking the view of everything else, until I click on the minus button a number of times. Is there any way to limit the size of an image window when it opens in a full workspace??

There is currently no way to make a new image open in a smaller size.

However keeping the browser window open may help you. If you click the History tab in the browser panel, you will see an outline view of all windows open in the workspace. This includes image windows and control windows For image windows the outline also notes the transformation used to create the window. Clicking on any item in the outline brings its window to the top. This provides an easy way to navigate o any desired window in a single step.

I like your suggestion on the use of the History panel. I got into the habit of closing the Browser/Histrory panel to get the most acreage out of the workspace because I have so many image windows open at the same time. However, I may bring the panel back again.

BTW, Sorry for the misleading Subject heading. I was originally going to ask a shortcut key question (which I will ask in another thread), but got sidelined with this other topic, and forgot to change the heading.
