Hi,
I just got a new Dell desktop with Windows 7 64-bit, using the CanoScan LiDE 100 scanner. So I upgraded to PW Pro 6.0 64-bit. But when I try to acquire a scan, it says "debug, condition code = 3". Not very helpful. When I hit OK, it says "Error opening source: TWAIN source not found in the TWAIN directory. Refer to your TWAIN source installation instructions".
If I choose File->Scan->Select source using 64-bit drivers, it comes up empty. I installed Canon's latest 64-bit drivers with this file: lide100win641403ea24.exe. It tells me the 64-bit drivers are installed. But Picture Window still complains there is no TWAIN source.
So I re-installed PW Pro 5.0 and it works fine. Could someone please help me find whatever I am missing? Otherwise it would seem I've wasted an upgrade to PW 6.0 64-bit.
Thanks for any help, Bob

Re: PW Pro 6.0 64-bit Twain problems
I am not sure that I know why the 64 bit driver is not being picked up. The lack of 64 bit drivers means we have little experience with this function so far. However, you can also install the 32 bit version of PWP concurrently with the 64 bit version. The 64 bit version has a special function for scanning via the 32 bit version under File/Scan/Scan using 32 bit drivers. This function allows you to scan via PWP 6/32.
