That picture of my desk I just posted was whilst I was trying to put a drop shadow round my whole image. I was using Frame.
I want to do it so an A2 montage of shots looks like little prints stuck to the surface of the sheet.
i am struggling and wondered if the Drop Shadow transformation can be used but I can't work out (a) how to mask the whole image and (b) how do I create an area for the drop shadow to fall on if the A2 is anything other than white.

First use Add Border to add white space around the image. Then use Drop Shadow, masking where the image is.

Re: Drop Shadow round a whole image
Thanks J.
I created a mask for the whole image.
I have my border.
Can you remind me how to call up that mask when I am in Drop Shadow mode, please.

In the Drop Shadow transformation, click on the black Mask box to bring up the Mask dialog box.
Select the Rectangle mask tool (the 2nd one).
Click and drag on the input image to select the area you want to mask.
Close the Mask Dialog Box.
Adjust the drop shadow parameters as necessary.

Splendid.
Ready to print using my Qimage - but of course I'd use more smaller images.
