Although not really needed... it would be to have a histogram of the image and to have an indication as to what adjustment will be mad as I weak the contrast or midtone sliders. Maybe instead of a histogram, a display like in the brightness tool.

The Adjust transformation is similar to Levels and Color but has a curve with histogram instead of the sliders so it is at lot more powerful -- Levels and Color is by design as simple as possible. The Levels and Color sliders are a very blunt tool for adjust brightness and contrast compared to curves/histogram since the curves they apply are the same for all images, regardless of how the histogram looks.
