The "Workflow Options" selections of the 'File Open' dialog when accessed from the File\Open drop down or the tool bar Open icon, do not seem to work for an 'image with a History workflow' unless the Browser\History dialog is open... the working space remains blank when 'Open' is clicked or the image is double left-clicked.
Can anyone confirm? I am using VistaHomePremium32 and PWP5.0.1.8.

Works fine here with Win XP SP3, no difference if Browse is open or not.

Re: 'File Open' dialog "Workflow Options" selections
Will the image open when "Apply associated workflow file" is selected?
For me, nothing seems to happen unless Browse is open as well... although I have not preformed a re-start. I'll try that and advise.

Hello den
Here the image opens and the associated workfolw is applied as it should.
No matter if Browse is open or not.
I forgot to mention my PWP vcersion, its 5.0.1.8, the same as yours.

I see what Den does: File/Open w/Apply Selected (or associated) Workflow file works when the Browse panel is opened, but does nothing for me when it is not.

Re: 'File Open' dialog "Workflow Options" selections
I have to apologise, i can not reproduce why it worked on first try, but i made some other experiments now and it behaves exactly like den described, not opening the image when the workflow is selected and browse is not open.
With Browse open everything works fine.
Please excuse my mistake, i will try to find why it worked first.

Re: 'File Open' dialog "Workflow Options" selections
I just found out what i have done to get the wrong result in testing this issue.
I had the Browse Bar not closed, i had it just resized fully to the left border so it was just its border beside the main window border.
So i did not notice it was open and just not visible.
Sorry again for that stupid mistake.
