S and M visibility

It would be nice if the saved or modified status of a thumbnail in the image tree could be displayed or determined when the length of the thumbnail's title pushes the S or M out of the area normally available for its display.

I may be missing your point, but the S or M icons do not get overwritten by a long thumbnail caption. They do go away however if you change the top level image.
