One side effect of keeping the complete file list is when re-visiting the processing of one file using its script, when some unrelated files have been deleted or moved, the user gets a warning about missing files upon opening the saved script. It would be more useful to only store the strictly necessary files in the input file list stage when saving the script file.
It would be nice if the generated script file could be made as tight as possible ( perhaps as a check box option in the pop-up dialog ).
That is, the file input list step would only contain the strictly necessary input files, not the whole list. A file input list could be converted to a single file input if possible.
Thanks, I knew about it.
But ...
Errors pop up upon opening a script with missing files.
It is not convenient to open potentially hundreds of script files to clean them up.
Avoiding this extra manual cleanup would be very useful.
For the next release, File Open checks for missing files in the list and lets you de-select them so you avoid getting multiple file missing errors when you run the batch operation.
