Scratch Removal Tool - blurring the ends

I'm using the Scratch Removal Tool for something that it probably wasn't designed to do, but: I've been removing a little piece of electrical cable running on the wall. So the Radius was fairly large. Scratch Removal worked great. There is a blurring slider that blurs the sides of the scratch replacement patch, but not the ends. The ends show as sharp boundary which I had to smudge later to become less visible. I wonder if the blurring could be applied all around the scratch, including the ends?

I will take a look, but you may just be able to make the line a little longer.

Yes, in this case I couldn't as the cable disappeared under the baroque candelabre and the 'scratch' was sizable, and the sharp end stack out... :-) Not that important - just a report.
