What is the make/model of your primary camera?: Nikon Z8

problem : when editing mask, going from 8-bits to 16-bits

Post by pierrelabreche »

Scenario :
  • select a transformation with an associated 8-bit amount mask, e.g. the masks transformation
  • re-open the mask
  • click on bit-depth control marked "16" in the masks tools
Expectation : Because there is no pending mask operation, the mask should simply be converted to 16-bits ;
Unexpected outcome : a previous final mask edition appears lost in the resulting mask. The 16-bit mask reverts to a previous state.

There was a problem with the Mask Paint tool in Paint Similar Pixels mode for 16-bit mask images. Fixed for next release.
