New Document Available - Processing Black and White Images

Post by jsachs »

A new document (Black and White Processing) is now available for download that contains information, tips and examples of how to process and print black and white images using Picture Window. A separate download includes a companion script and example file so you can reproduce the results in the document if you wish.

Thanks. Always interesting to see other's workflow thinking.

I caught a couple of typos...

2nd paragraph below sample image:

"more of less isolates" -> "more or less isolates"

Next sentence:

inludes -> includes

Step 2 - Increasing Sky Contrast, 2nd para.:

one for the areas -> one for the area

Third paragraph is missing period at end.

Step 3 - Increasing Field Contrast:

The you can -> Then you can

Thanks, will update.

Indeed, if anyone else wants to post an alternate script file with some other processing workflow that could be very interesting.

Thank you! Since I only do B&W, it's always nice to get some alternate perspectives on the color to B&W conversion.
