NRW-files

Post by johnholland »

Dear JS, Thx for your great program. Would it be possible to include reading of NRW-files in a next version? The older PW7 version did have this capability.
Cheers,

By design, PWP 8 does not read raw files as it is very difficult to keep up with the flood of new file formats and metadata changes in a timely manner -- there are a number of other programs that read raw files better than PWP 7 (with automatic distortion, chromatic aberration and light falloff correction, high quality noise reduction, etc.), some free and some commercial.

Check out the following raw converters:

DxO Photolab (Commercial) - highly recommended
Capture One (Commercial)
Lightroom (Commercial)
ON 1 (Commercial)

Raw Therapee (Free)
DarkTable (Free)
Digikam (Free)

or just use whatever software came with your camera (Free)
