Re: Copy toolbar, album, and other settings to new computer
There are a number of keys involved and they interact. So I would recommend going into the Window/Configure Toolbar dialog on your original computer and taking a screen shot and then using it on your new computer to make the settings. Kiril Okay. That was "Plan B," so Plan B it is. For fu...

Re: Copy toolbar, album, and other settings to new computer
Most other PWP settings are saved in the registry. The settings include pathname parameters and thus are dependent on the particular machine. So while it is possible to create a .reg file that saves a subtree of registry settings and then install the file on your new computer, it is not recommended...

Copy toolbar, album, and other settings to new computer
I'd like to install PWP on a new computer and can't figure out how to transfer my toolbar, album, dialog box defaults, color lines, and other settings from the current computer to the new one. How do I do this? Sorry if this is documented somewhere in the Help or manual; I couldn't find it. Thanks, ...

Re: PWP 6 Electronic Manual won't load from editor
Hi, Kiril. Sent you my info on PWP and my OS. On PWP 6 installations the manual should be installed into the Docs folder under the Picture Window applications folder. The manual file name is pw60.pdf. If you need further help please send e-mail to support@dl-c.com. Please specify your PWP version an...

PWP 6 Electronic Manual won't load from editor
Just tried the electronic manual and it doesn't appear to load from the editor. I just get a "Cannot load" message. Tried a repair install of the doc but that didn't help. Suggestions?

Re: Does Profile Mechanic work on Windows 7?
Randy, how did you get Win7 64-bit to recognize the puck? When I tried to install the driver and pointed the hardware wizard to the driver installation folder, it listed only a bunch of Chroma*.inf and Gamma*.inf files, none of which allowed Profile Mechanic to connect with the device.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Masking and 2-Zone and 3-Zone transformations
Thanks for taking the time to develop this mask extraction technique. However, it seems more complicated than I can tackle. Some way of directly accessing the Mask tool from within the transformation would seem to me to be the most obvious way to make the tool even more flexible, or some way to save...

Re: Masking and 2-Zone and 3-Zone transformations
Okay, that's what I figured when I played around with hit. A future enhancement might be to allow users to open the Mask transformation and make changes to the transformation-generated masks (or at least to save those masks) so that they can be edited for future use.
Best regards,
David

Masking and 2-Zone and 3-Zone transformations
I love the new 2-zone and 3-Zone transformations! I was never able to figure out how to implement them manually, following Den's detailed instructions, but the transformations are a breeze to use. However, one question, which I fear the answer to is "no" but hope it is "yes" or a...
