Re: Mask creation feature request
Maybe I don't understand the overlap operation. From the doc, I see: "Clears the parts of the current mask that do not overlap the new mask. Use this mode when you want to create a mask based on two conditions being met simultaneously, for example, to create a mask consisting of all pixels in a...

Re: Mask creation feature request
I'm don't think the overlap will work for my use case. Assume I have do a serious of mask creation operations already. To use overlap, I need to change what I already have by drawing the keep-out area into the current mask - this would destroy work I have already done in the 'keep-in' area that I wa...

Mask creation feature request
Maybe there's another way to do this, but.... While creating a mask, it would be nice to be able to define a keep-out or keep-in area that a tool, such as flood fill, would be restricted to work within. For example, when using 'color range,' I might want to apply a certain setting to only one portio...

Possible masks tool bug?
I have created a somewhat complex mask. I then do some other transformations, such as brightness curve, then I go back to modify the mask and it looks like it may be re-calculating the mask steps twice... I double click on the mask transform, and it looks like it is recalculating the previous mask -...

Masking technique sugestions???
I've been trying different ways of creating a mask that only preserves the core clematis flower. I've had varying degrees of success vs effort involved, so I was wondering if anyone had some neat tricks or transformations that I'm not familiar with. A sample image is attached. Thanks in advance for ...

Monochrome Xform feature request
I frequently use the 'filter' option when converting to a monochrome image. A lot of times, I'll toggle between two of the solid colors, say, red and blue to see how the different areas of the image are effected. Unfortunately, this takes moving the mouse and clicking, then looking back at my image....

request: enhanced mask support for monochome transform
I periodically want to convert an image to monochrome using two different methods, for example, a red filter for the sky and a different filter for the land. I currently create a mask, then invoke the monochrome tool twice using the same mask, but inverted for the 2nd pass. Some of the tools, for ex...
