Multipass Sharpen with 16 bit masks and Monochrome
I am seeing a problem when using Multipass Sharpen with a monochrome image. I open the Multipass transform, then click to create a new mask. If leave the default 8 bit mask, I then use the color range tool to mask to only some white sea foam bubbles. All works as expected, I can see the sharpened th...

Here's what I ended up doing...
I emailed the picture to myself, then opened it via Thunderbird. From there I was able to copy it to the

feature request
This is not a critical addition, but it would be nice to have a new text tool that would only be used for adding the base file name to an image. It would be nice if it could have a set of 'sticky' parameters that could be used to set preferences, such as: - location: left, center, right, top, bottom...

problem with DNG files
I am seeing a problem trying to open a .dng file. At first I thought it was corrupted, but various other tools are able to open it, for example Thunderbird. PWP complains that it is a corrupted file. I am running Win8. I have attached the file in a zip archive since the message board appears to not ...

Thank you! Since I only do B&W, it's always nice to get some alternate perspectives on the color to B&W conversion.

Re: bug in masks blur control
I repeated my experiment with the Windows Resource Monitor running. It shows plenty of free memory when I run the experiment, about 11 GB. As another experiment, I started a fresh "Masks" command below the exiting one - I make a simple freehand mask, then try the 'blur' button and that wor...
