I think the problem may have to do with the installer leaving some old files around when installing the new lens profile data. One last thing to try -- delete both the Lens Profile and the LensFun/db folders and then re-install PWP. Also uninstalled PWP, rebooted before re-installing. Problem persi...

I tried on a different computer ( laptop ) and the same problem is reproduced.
