Text Transformation Change
Hello. I installed the 8/12/21, update. I use the text transformation regularly and noticed immediately that the background transparency slider is not working properly. Also, the default background is black when the transparency slider is set at 100%. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I'm thin...

Combining a Lunar Eclipse Sequence
I would like to shoot the total lunar eclipse occurring at the end of September 2015. I'd like to take a shot of the landscape before moon rise followed by a series of shots, in sequence, beginning with the full moon, as it moves into the total eclipse, out of the eclipse, and ending with the full m...

Re: Advanced Search of PWP Forums
For what it's worth, here's what I do to search the Picture Window support board using Google and the Firefox browser. 1) I use Firefox's " Search Bar " function, the text search field that is part of the default top bar at the top of the Firefox window, and I also use " Add to Searc...

Re: Color Management "Monitor Profile" Resets to Zeoro
I have the same problem as Jay with PW Pro keeping the profile created by Pantone's Huey Pro. I've been using the Huey Pro for at least three years and have gotten used to having to reselect the profile in the the Color Management Settings. I don't have this problem with Qimage or IMatch.

Re: Bibble5 Postprocessing with Picture Window Pro
I use Bibble 5 to convert RAW files and PWP for post processing. After using IMatch to catalogue my images, I open the Bibble 5 processed 16 bit tiffs in PWP through IMatch without a hitch. However, to assist in this post, I adjusted the Output settings in Bibble 5, to open PWP following it's RAW co...

Re: Stack Images In Wrong Order
Thanks for your reply, Jonathan! I began with Sony .ARW files and converted to 16 bit .tiff using Bibble default values with no adjustments. I wanted to do as little processing as possible so the only PW transformations I used was Level and Crop. The images are oriented correctly with the light end ...

Stack Images In Wrong Order
I'm trying to create custom curves in the Stack Image transformation. Using a Q-13 card I have made three bracketed exposures (-2, 0, +2). I have cropped to where only the grey-scale is visible. I open the Stack Image transformation and load the underexposed image (-2) as Image 1, the overexposed im...

Re: PWP5 Image Blending & Tone Mapping
This result was obtained using all four images and processing in Photomatix, a dedicated HDR application. The process took about one minute with only minor adjustments made to the default settings.
