Re: B&W
Another way is the "Color Lookup" transformation. But for this approach you will need LUTs (LookUp Table). You may find these for free in the on the Internet. There different formats for this files. The Cube-format is widely used. You can even create your own LUTs with this transformation....

Suggestion: Golden Triangle Left and Golden Triangle Right in one overlay
Is it possible to have the two Grid-overlays
- Golden Triangle Left and
- Golden Triangle Right
together in one combined Grid-Overlay.
I was just pointed to something called "dynamic symmetry".
I guess such a combined overlay may be something like "dynamic symmetry light" :-)

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.369
I got the attached error-message from the Windows-installer. OK, it is german, but the meaning is: Another version of this program is allready installed. The given advice is to use the system functions to configure the installed Version or to remove it. I am not shure, if it is a "home-brewed&q...

40 Years of Adobe
I just read an article in in the press about Adobe.
I am just curious about the "birth date" of Picture Window Pro
or dl-c.
I use PWP since 2002/2003 (version 3.x?). Thats about 20 years. The oldest version in my archive is a 3.5 dated 2004-02-28.
I am still convinced of this programm.

Transformation Combine Channels crashes
Trying to start the Combine Channels Transformation results in a crash of PWP (actual version).
I don't know since which version this problem shows up.

Re: Topaz support
The article is ok, but take into account that the article is nearley 2 years old and the tools might have improved. I downloaded the raw and developed it with DxO 6 and DeepPrime XD and received a very good result (from my point of view). Problem: DeepPrime XD needs a strong CPU or graphic-card. Pre...

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.328
With older version <Ctrl P> opened the system dialog to select an configure a printer.
After this the PWP-Print-dialog ist opened, but cannot work because of missing info.
Clicking ok causes a crash.
