I have posted a new release (2-Aug-2019).

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Again fixed problems stopping PWP from running on systems before Windows 10 version 1703. Unfortunately, I do not have any computers running WIndows 7 or 8 here to test against, but this should work OK.

I just tried the new version.
Still the same error message.

Are you sure it's exactly the same error message and that you are running the 2-Aug version? It looks like I forgot the update the version date on the 2-Aug version -- will fix this right now.

I found a computer here with Windows 8.1 and I will continue on this until I get a new version that works.

OK, this time I have gotten a version of 2-Aug-2019 that tests OK on Windows 8.1 and which presumably also works on Windows 7. I have replaced the 2-Aug version uploaded earlier with the update, so it will also list 2-Aug-2019 as the version.

Hmmm, is it just me? I installed Aug-2 updated version, and "quick pick" is no longer functioning, space bar or letter key combinations. Is that something I could have turned off by mistake?
