Fyi, trying to define a mask using brightness curve results in a hard stop termination of PWP? Something I"m doing wrong, or something to do with the beta version?

It seems to work here.

Can you give some more details about the image (size/type). Does it fail with all images or just some, with all curves or just some?

Perhaps this has nothing to do with the original post post, but if you change the color of the mask from any back to red, PWP 7.0.6 crashes. This happnes even without any mask already created or applied, just open the mask dialog box switch the color from red to any and then back.
Tested with PWP 7.0.6 32bit on Win 7 32bit.

I can't reproduce any of the 2 problems here with PWP7.0.6 32 under Win XP.
Changing color and Brightness Curve works fine.

I think I found the problem - it's not clicking on the red button but hovering the cursor over it that triggers the crash. Will be fixed in the next beta which Kiril should be releasing in a day or so.
