Noise Reduction transformation

Hello,
Generally Shift + Click on the Amount rectangle swiftly toggles between before and after views of a transformed picture. However, with the Noise reduction transformation it is far from swift, especially when more demanding settings are used. Even toggling in Noise reduction of the Advanced Sharpen with the most extreme settings is almost instantaneous. Both are quite likely different algorithms, still, with the noise reduction it looks more like noising and de-noising of the preview, while with other transformations it looks more like switching between before and after versions of the preview.
Since I do not know, what really is going behind, this is just a question to better understand the differences between the transformations.

Thanks,
David

David,

Noise reruns the transformation, which takes a small amount of additional time. I will review it and see if that can be avoided.
