Installing PWP on Linux Mint 12 and Ubuntu 11.10

This new series of releases is very much a break from the past and a new step forward. So will it break my PWP? Turns out getting PWP running now is yet easier. My experience, using the previous tips, got it going with a bit more effort. This one was easy. See the Distro I use at http://www.linuxmint.com/.
I'll just guess its base, Ubuntu 11.10, is as easy, and maybe also all the other distros supported by Play On Linux http://www.playonlinux.com/, but I just ran PlayOnLinux and then the pwp5.0.exe and got a working PWP. No tips and tricks or magic incantations.
No Tutorial or Manual instantly, of course, since I have not installed any .pdf reader, nor downloaded the manual.
Only problem so far is that navigating Browser to a linux-permission-denied directory stalls/breaks. Solution is easy. Don't do that. If other Linux users of PWP within Linux have discovered that it is more complicated than first running PlayOnLinux and then PWP, describe the extra steps you have needed.
