New to PWP

Hi,

I'm new to PWP, after 40 years of traditional 'Ansel Adams- style/process control' darkroom, I thought I'd give 'digital' a try.
I like PWP, it's more 'analog' than Photoshop.
There's one thing bothering me, though, it's the repeatability of settings in sliders. I find it hard to get repeatable exact values in most of the sliders. They're usually a few decimals off.

Is there a way to enter exact values?

Thanks

Frank

There is no keyboard entry for sliders. However most transformation dialogs can be widened (by dragging the edge of the window) for greater sensitivity in adjusting sliders. However, remember that digital means discrete rather than continuous. So for example for an eight bit image you can't make adjustments better than 1:256.

Hi Frank

Welcome Aboard.
If you hold the shift key and click left or right of a slider it moves exact 1/1024 of the value between the most left and most right position.
So settings can be made very accurately.
