New Image

Latest version.
I may be misunderstanding how things work with this transform....
- Bring up the New Image dialogue, plain white, no Reference Image identified. By default it starts with 24 bit (meaningless for this conversation), Height/Width of 100 x 100, Pixels, Resolution 100.
- Change Pixels to Inches (results in height/width of 0.333, if I recall).
- Change Height/Width to 9. Everything okay, so far.
However, when I change Resolution to 300, the Height/Width automatically change to 3.
When I check Info, it confirms Height/Width is 3 inches.
I don't understand why Height/Width does not remain at 9 inches and the Resolution (of the digital image) does not merely reflect 2700 x 2700 Pixels.
If I were to print this image, would I get a 9 x 9 inch or 3 x 3 inch image (at 300dpi)?
