Tomorrow I do my first 'PWP processed' shoot from some amdram rehearsal. From experience all shots will be too warm - and some more than others as the lighting man fiddles around
In the past I have elected to try to get the right white balance applied to all the shots before adjusting for brightness, saturation, etc.
I do this by finding one shot in a sequence with a white shirt, or something else. I then apply that white bal adjustment to all the other shots before and after that will have the same lighting. I go forward and back as sometimes it is not the first shot in the group that is easiest to work with.
I suppose I could have another folder of corrected TIFFs and use that for my main batch run but that will take up disk space - so there is probably a better solution.
What would you do?

You can often do this type of correction in the raw converter and apply the settings to all the images as you convert to TIFF before further processing.

Thanks J.
That seems to work fine with RAWTherapee. I need to do a bit more reading on RT but it will not be time wasted.

I don't think the file from the WP corrected RAW Therapee is as good as one with the WP corrected in PWP.
Curve from RT version.
Curve from PWP
How would you go about applying it to selected other images in the folder?

Another comparison
Your Brightness curve without RT WM
Let RT correct WB

After quite a lot more fiddling around in PWP I accept they may be a better start point - with the bonus of being able to apply them on a batch of images.

For anyone who has bothered to follow this rather basic thread you will find that when you go into Edit mode in RAWTherapee there is an icon at the top right of the image with a pipette for White Balance.
It is the one to the right of the 'hand' and it saves you having to go into the more detailed profile menus.
Clearly is it much used.
