I've been trying to figure out the easiest and most robust way of triaging the RAW files. Ideally, I'd like the ratings to be embedded in the file metadata (difficult to lose). I noticed that Canon DPP (and reportedly Lightroom and PS Bridge) write ratings (stars) to XMP:Rating field. Did it become a standard of sorts? I still can't figure out how to easily search for images by EXIF/XMP fileds (well, Total Commander has a plugin, and DPP can sort the images by ratings... but that's still not it).
Would this be something that could be considered for implementation in PWP? - if one could triage and search collections in PWP, efficiently, that would be awesome!
Cheers!

XMP is a commenting standard developed by Adobe. We have had some conversations with Lead Tools whose toolkit we use for file I/O and they are working on adding support for XMP.
