Using the Levels and Color transformation, PWP stopped responding for a while, with the Remove Color pop-up being displayed "not responding" in the status bar. After about 15 seconds, the app was fluid again.

Workflow script attached.

I have seen similar things happen here more or less at random -- I believe this may be a problem with the Windows task scheduler or memory manager but I don't have any real evidence one way or the other. There were similar problems early on with the Windows scheduler causing long delays when running on computers that had a lot of cores. There is nothing that I know of in the program code that could account for these random delays.

I would keep an eye on "Levels and Color - color balance", since I have seen it happen many times on this specific transformation, as witnessed with the color picker popup showing "not responding".

Levels and color balance ceased responding then crashed PWP. See attached debug info.

I have tried a number of times and cannot reproduce this issue, nor has anyone else reported it.

Have you tried using the color picker pipette for the "remove color" patch ?
